I have never felt any pressure to make those decisions. I feel that my future prospects are much stronger as a result of his guidance.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

Approaching retirement my assets were a mixture of State Pension, and three different company pensions, each with varying benefits and conditions. I needed to understand the complexities, consider my options and weigh the risks of receiving financial advice against the cost of so doing

With my permission Asif engaged with each of my pension providers, evaluated their offers and weighed up their benefits against the safety they offered. He also carefully evaluated my domestic and family position, took time to understand my requirements in retirement, and drew my attention to factors I had not given sufficient consideration. From there he drew up a proposal which I accepted in full. He then arranged the relevant transfers and set up a communication path for our future relationship A year later he recommended a change to the financial solution to lower the charges in return for a less dynamic approach to investment. This was exactly right for someone who by then was in retirement with all finances in place He now suggests a further realignment to reflect that I have recently remarried, moved into my wife's house and now have a couple of years of retirement under my belt. I have agreed to his suggested strategy and will review again with him in 2026, albeit there is the facility to change during the year if my circumstances change

Yes, my pensions are secure and my assets within Asif's guidance continue to perform well
